so your box boots directly to the dashboard. Wait until the dashboard appears before continuing.

does that mean wait until this screen user posted image
loads? it doenst matter if it just sits there, right?

Not a big issue, since I should not have any need for Partition F while in emergency via backdoor - however I'm wondering if this is a bad symptom of something else.

Sounds like a config file needs edited to show the F drive on that paticular setup.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me locate an update.xbe a 4920, 5659 or 5960 dash in order to use UDE? I think I read a post somewhere warning not to post links to these so if thats the case im not trying to bend rules, but was just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to go about getting one.

Ok, I’ve tried using Xboxhdm 1.9 with the UDE1/UDE2 package to mod my K:5838 D:5960 box. The swap thing goes ok and the UDE2 installs just fine but that’s all…….it will not install the bios loader or evox or anything else……..

Now I have access to Xbox HD, but to no avail, I’ve spent the better part of the weekend reading the threads and trying to find a tut or directions on what files do I have to overwrite/replace in order to complete the install of this particular package………could someone help me with that?

Thanks

Hey ... Thanx for the great SOFTMOD, I could not believe how easy it was. Although it took me a lot of reading before I found this package from Idiots.

Thanx again!!!!!!!!!

One question though, is it possible to install PxHDDLoader on to the XBOX to be able to back up games?? I thought of FTPing  but don't want to mess anything up. I have a  retail HD but thought I could back up a game at a time till I pass it and than erase it before backing up another one. If Yes than which directory should it go into??

THANX Great Job

well you could try switching the region and possibly kill your xbox....OR you could use UXE. why are people still using these painfully outdated packages/tutorials? search for uxe complete, that's all you need to softmod a newer non-ntsc xbox.
