1.Green/Red flash after 2 reboot.
2.No display.
3.Same status as Modchip on or off.(Modchip is good,check another MB.)
4.D0 line is connected.(checked by multimeter)
5.Reset line is connected.(checked by multimeter)
6.Check trace by my eyes.No problem found.
7.Try 3line method.no change.
8.Check lpcpin voltage,
(1)lclk 0v??
(2)gnd 0v
(3)lframe 3.3v
(4)-
(5)Reset 0.2v ??
(6)vcc 5v
(7)lad3 3.3v
(8)lad2 3.3v
(9)vcc 3.3v
(10)lad1 3.3v
(11)lad0 3.3v
(12)gnd 0v
MB ver1.0 cheapLPCmod chip.m7bios
pls.help or suggestion.

hey akinas!

i´ve got the same fu...... problem but only with activated modchip.

it seems that pin 1 is the problem. it should have 1.6 volt, and it has when the modchip is disconnected, as soon as i connect d0 (activate the chip) it has 0 volt on pin 1.

what do you mean with 7. 3 line method ?

have you checked and testet the trace from pin 1 ? ( follow the trace from pin 1 on the backside of the mb , there is another little hole where you can check with the multimeter!)

Have the same problem tryed the three wire but nothing . installed a mod chip nothing do not know what to do. If I find a way out I will let you know.

i can't find any failure!
i traced lclk line,the line disapear under the chip MCPX.
is MCPX broken?
