Aladdin Advance On V1.0 Xbox Problem.

Ok, i have an aladdin advance 64 installed on a v 1.0 xbox, the ms dash boots no problem with a quick press of the power button, play originals fine...

Press and hold power button for a sec, ring turns red like it's supposed to then green, but u hear high pitched whining noise that kinda fades away and xbox turns off...A second later it turns itself back onand asks for the clock...

What could be causing this problem...

By the way this aladdin has the X2 4983 bios on it, Thank You.

Solder shorting out the LPC or damage to the LPC through holes is most likely.

Yep you were spot on dude, i desoldered the aladdin, put a pin-header in there and presto, worked like a charm, thanx.
