This is making no sense.  Why are people getting the error screens?  A correcly installed chip usually results in a Flashbbios screen, and an install that has no bios results in a frag, but I know for a fact that the x2.2's come prefkashed with the Flashbios.

Okay, this is what's happening. All the bank switches are off and the chip is enabled. Everyone goes normal until the X comes up, there is nothing underneath it, usually MS is under it. While this is happening, the power button is green. When it Goes to the Languages screen, no error number is there and it tells me to contact MS for support in a few different languages. Plus it does the same thing with the chip is off.

The modchip is most probably not properly installed.. and there might be something wrong with your xbox if it doesn't boot normally when the modchip is disabled.

Another thing, if the chip was properly installed without the BIOS, what should happen when i boot the box with the chip on? with the chip off? A pic off a web cam or a good descroption would be very appreciated

If that was the case, frag with it on, normal dash with it off.

And once again people, this is why everyone on this forum warns you *NOT* to use pogopins.

That would be the case if it had no bios.  However the x2.2 comes preflashed with the flashbios.

*sigh* The x2.2 does come preflashed with the teamxecuter flashbios.  I've said this many times in this thread.

Its worth a try.  It won't hurt anything if you do.  The only thing it might take away is your ability to use the flashbios, but you can always use the parallel port then.  There is always a chance your chip was not factory flashed as well.
