Leisure Suit Larry Hdd Fix

i copied and saved in the notepad and renamed it to the acl but it still says it is a text document. how do i make it a acl file?  thanx also i keep trying to use dvd2xbox and everytime i try to backup any game or movie when it finishes it says (however many) files not copied. then the game doesn`t play or show up. i have tried everything.

first of all..did you enable the f drive through dvd2xbox and/or file logging so you can see what's going wrong?

i didn`t enable file logging, but i will and let you know what it says. i enabled he f drive and acl and enable rm deletion. also i tried px hdd loader and it will copy the games but won`t play. i hope it isn`t the maxtor 120gb hdd. i`ll post back tomorrow or pm you. thanks also how do i get the lsl acl instead of text?? or will it work like that

ph34r.gif I figured a easy way to modify the .txt to .acl just rename it in the FlashFTP.
By the does anyone know how to remove all the censor bars ?

3. Do a Text Search for 'NudityMode', You'll see this line of text: Name "NudityMode".Type Boolean.Data 0

4. Change the 0 to a 1 so you have Boolean.Data 1

5. Go to offset 00371490 (The line reads 0.000000 1.00000)

6. Change the 1.00000 to 0.00000 and save the file then transfer it back over to your Xbox. No more censor bars

this works and is easiest

I backed up LSL to dvd with no problem.  Rip the game to your xbox hdd then ftp it to your pc then open nero 6 and select dvd udf and under the second tab(not sure the name right now) click the box for XBOX video playback compatabilty then add the files to the session (ie move from right pane to left pane hdd to dvd etc) and click burn and in 5 - 10 minutes depending on burner you have a perfect copy and NO COASTERS.

I use this method for 99.952467% of my backups without a hitch.  
Just use the correct media for your xbox.  IMHO ritek G04 are the best and compatabile with all 3 dvd drives i have checked.

hey i just checked the log file and for my splinter cell it said it had 2 read errors , failed to copy .  and at the top of the log it said couldn`t find acl file for the title 5553000c using default acl  and on doa it had the acl and a bunch of read errors. i hope i don`t have to find the acl files for every game i want to copy. i hope someone knows how to help.

i 'm able to play the game off my HDD and remove the "censors" BUT.. all the chicks i get to go to the cutsceen or trampolie or dance are still wearing clothes, at least down to there panties and bra. isn't there a patch or code to get them "nude"? i have already tried the bolean 1 and the 00371499. am i missing something?

What is everyones fascination with cartoon nudity?!  If you want to see some t&a that bad, go rent a porn for gods sake.  Do you think every game that comes out for xbox should require that all the characters be naked?!  Holy shit!!!
