edit:

okay. a lot of ppl are messaging me on how to get this acl to work. first, do not save the acl as a txt file. it must be saved as an acl file. i've decided to scrap my ealier work and opted to go with this acl file instead. it will save a lot of you a headache. the last line is from my original acl and it works. if you played through the lsl game, your gonna have to delete the game save and start over if you want to play from this patch. sorry about all the confusion. this will also remove the censorship bars from the game. to reapply this patch, get a copy your default.xbe_orig and rename it to default.xbe and delete the old default.xbe. exec this patch through dvd2xbox or you can manually do it with a hex editor. here is the new acl for Leisure Suit Larry.

Sorry to add another question to the fray...

I put the acl file in the acl directory and when I go to process it, the screen stays at "Processing ACL ..." indefinitely.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

QUOTE
I copied agenteb's post and pasted to notepad then saved it as 56550031.acl and notepad saves it as 56550031.acl.txt

Natasha, instead of saving it through notepad, just right click the file and rename it to 56550031.acl

That always works for me when I use acl files in DVD2Xbox.;)

Good luck

syxx6 my friend,

you put the acl file in the wrong folder. it doesn't go under the patches folder but the acl folder. put the acl file in there and exec. it should patch the game and all should be good

to clarify a few things, this patch only fixes the issue of playing LSL off your hdd. patching is not required if you want to make an iso backup of the game. it plays fine without any issues if you play off the dvd+-r

Anyone know if its possible to remove the censor bar from the model viewer, and some other areas of the game (i.e. monkey jackin' off).blink.gif

The nude hack seems to work most everywhere else...

Just curious if this can be done via hex edit or some other method,

Thanks.

Well i wasted my last dvd-r and 2 more out of a 5 pack i just had to go buy.
I tried making the image with craxxion first and then tried my old SimpleXiso.
both images have the same problem, i tried burning the craxxion one with stomp recordnowMAX and nero, and the simplexiso one with stomp. All 3 discs show no files in the data folder. Obviously the game does not run.
I looked for the files with boxplorer and dvd2xbox.
I am just going out now, but does anyone know what could be wrong?
files missing on disc are both on the pc harddrive where they should be, and show up when browsing the .iso in craxxion. Whats going on here?

Thanks alot to anyone who can help,
