I have quite a few Xecuter products for the 360 and although i could easily make home made versions for a 10th of the price,i dont have the time or the will so having the option to buy a good quality ready made device for a few quid is fine by me. Choice is good but if you dont like the teamX products i'm sure we can all appreciate that but theres no point in the Team X bashing whenever they release a new product, its extremely old and boring now.

all liteons except *8v2 had been dump via  soldering and t-x came up with a tool after the fact so if you want to be a hater that's fine i could give to shit but if you're going to state facts state them correctly

The tool that you said TX came up with i builded myself with less then 4USD (a RS232 TTL converter)

I used a needle and was able to do hundreds of liteons 7xxx without any problem

So you are trying to say TX invented the rs232 TTL converter? Do your research before posting

again reading is fundamental your should try it sometime actually  hence i said after

this is great news!  regarding this whole little debate about team x, in my opinion they have gone down hill. as mentioned, they kicked ass during the xbox1 days.  since the 360 though, they have only come out with garbage. ill never forget their "rrod fix kit". lmao. but to be fair, i havent tried their jtag kit, or nand reader. so i could be wrong...
anyways, i doubt they even had anything to do with new hacked fw for this s dvd drive.  im pretty sure it was just c4e. and thats annoying. its like team x cant really hold their own anymore. so now they clench onto someone else. theyre soooo happy to announce this. but who really wrote this new fw? team x? doubt it.

That wasn't what I was implying. I was implying no release will most likely be made till Team X has some sort of tool that they will claim will be the only way of dumping/flashing the drive.

Short of actually finding a way for Joe Blow to do it, you should be thankful *if* you're lucky enough to buy an xecuter product than can deliver it.

The way this has been done, wont be the way you do it - and thats not marketing, its because its beyond 99.9% of modders, simply because of what is required to do so.

Remember there is alot more work to be done.
