hello ,

I want to flash my ms25 .

I have bought a via vt 6421 serial ata card from ebay.

I installed everything and the card is beeing recognized by windows and bios .

When i put my xbox on and type mtkflas r /m orig.bin in dos it keeps saying No drive found .

What am i doing wrong ?

please help me

have you tried different sata ports on the card ???

how are you powering the drive ?? Through the 360 ??
Check all connections.
Check your mtkflash (i.e. use hexworkshop)

i checked everything , can it be that it makes probleme because the sata card does have raid or something like that or  that it must be recognized in bios .

somebody ideas ?/

when you boot up via the usb or floppy, what exactly do you see when you type the mtkflash command?  i have a couple 6421A cards and what i viewed on screen was pri master, sec master and then xtreme as options, not the card like i viewed in the videos.  i selected the xtreme option, did the 10 sec trick (have ms28) and it all worked (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

i remember someone talking about a jumper setting, the stock way didn't work, doubt its on very many cards but its worth a look

FYI: only use the sata slot closes to the front of the computer
