I'm looking into adding code to convert PCM files to a WAV file so it should play with any media player and save you the hassle of tracking down a program to convert it.

that does raise another question,  what veg just said.

would it be difficult to add rebuild functionality to it?  or does that involve too many variables since it extracts different file types?

im tired and kinda pissed... because i have like 5 hours
downloading and trying stuff to play adpcm files...

the codec... DOESNT WORK not just me but in several computers...and other forums.

i´ve tried to dowload audio converters that converts adpcm to mp3 and nothing

4 programs already downloaded and all of them fail.

i mean its there a fucking way to play this files??!?!

i´ve tryed xwb extractor, psychonauts music ripper...

and i want my oddworld stranger and jade empire OST!

i hate it why does the game music its so underground...

i would kill for the jak 3 ost or the oddworld stranger...

psychonauts one is already ordered...

but fucking adpcm i hate you.

i hope xbmc adds support for it... and xwb extractor in xbmc too.

I'm also trying to get the sound track from Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition, I found like 13 of songs on my computer, but from the list i compiled for the number of songs there are like 110 of them. I have the list on my desktop for all the tracks on MC3:DE if anyone wants it.

But yeah, any help on this is greatly appreciated.

I used that app to extract all the burnout 3 tracks, I think the trick was to extract each track seperately. here's a list of the track names and their file sizes, you should be able to use the file size to match up your extracted wma tracks and save yourself some work.

After pulling out what little hair I left on my head; I'm now posting for help .. I tried to do this on my own; and it's becoming near-impossible.  There has to be a way to convert this file effectively .. I got this far not knowing what I was doing initially ..

For those of you that want to listen to the 41-tracks soundtrack of Burnout Revenge when you are behind the wheels yourself, here's how to do it:

1. Use Eatrax Xwb Extractor V1.1 to rip each song one at the time (otherwise you end up with useless wma files).

2. If you want you can easily convert the wma-files to MP3 or something else with dBpowerAMP Music Converter.

3. When converted to MP3, it's nice to use MP3Gain to level the volume.

4. If you want to ID3 tag and rename the files, use the following info. The tracknumbers are the same numbers as the extracted WMA's. CD1 contains the tracks from the first EATRAX file en CD2 those from the second one.
