just wondering if i can play online with xlink kai with satalite broadband

I am not certain but I would think not, there is to much lag time using Satellite broadband. It certainly doesnt work for VPNs because of the lag.

Technically you could play but the lag would be worse than a dial-up connection. The reason for this is that satallite internet may be fast for downloading and browsing webpages but the latency or lag is the amount of time it takes for your internet connection to ask for a file or webpage from your isp then start sending it back to you. With dial-up this takes about half a second but when it starts to download it is very slow. With satallite this takes 2.5 seconds but when it starts downloading it can be quite fast. Since online gaming requires not very big files but lots of small files called packets being transmitted all the time satallite internet is basically useless for online gaming of any sort

yea i know its one of the only options for our location and it is not good for online gaming at all so i didn't get it
