How are you burning the ISO?
Are you sure you know how to burn an ISO?
If you pop the disc in your PC can you see anything on the disc?
What type of disc are you burning to?
What drive does your box have?

Bad news. I tried it myself, I currently have no dashboard, and even if I have a cd in my xbox when I boot it, it automatically goes to the error screen: "Your xbox requires service". I didn't back the eeprom or whatever, so am I effed? Any suggestions at all would be nice..

Turn off your modchip, stick a live enabled game in your xbox & coldboot it.

If it loads, select the Xbox Live option and the game will update (reinstall) your M$ dash.

Someone verify, but if original games load isnt there some way to use an exploit here to work towards getting this xbox functional again?

If the SC gamesave is still on the hard drive AND he can still boot the original game, then he can definitely fix his problem.

Otherwise, I'm willing to repair it for free.... I have chips & softmodding "tools" here. You pay shipping (both directions) and I'll revert your xbox back to stock... no charge for my labor.
