Put in Slayer's Auto Installer 2.6 and use the option for restoring the hard drive to factory. Also, the softmod installer you used probably has a backup restore feature IF you backed up your hard drive before it was modded with the installer.

· Download Slayer's 2.6 from the usual places
· Burn it to Disc
· Stick it in your xbox
· Reformat your xbox back to Stock
· Done....

Thanks, I got the auto installer from xbins, but it's a torrent file, and BitTorrent doesn't wanna work with it. What do I do? (BTW, I don't have the EvoX dashboard, I have unleashed).

BT works with it... try Azureus or another BT app.

Doesn't matter which dash you currently have... You're gonna use Slayer's as a boot disc to wipe clean your xbox and reinstall the stock M$ files.

Now, once I put back a stock dashboard, are you POSITIVE the halo 2 patch won't pick up any modded content and ban me?

Yep. Don't forget to Save your XBL account to a memory card BEFORE you use Slayer's. If you don't have a memory card... use Account Recovery.

Slayer's will format your hard drive (wipe it clean), then will install only the stock M$ files back onto your hard drive.
