There is no way in hell you could get a 25.000 euro fine, it would be on tv: DUTCH GUY GETS SUED FOR MODDING XBOXES. And you would be the first dutch guy to get sued for modding xboxes, look at www.2ehands.nl, full of xbox modders and people selling backups. And you get caught for modding 4 xboxes?

And the police doesn't just call you to say you have to pay 25.000 euro.

If you get a 25.000 euro fine the average dutch modder would get life in a rape-me-in-the-ass prison. Sorry.

yeah. I don't think you'd have to pay 25k for modding 6 boxes. Especialy you wouldn't get told about that via phone. They would come to your house and tell you with an official paper. My guess: Some "friends" giving you a prank call.

The guy from UK was fined £750... which is no where near 16700 (25.000)

And he did this as a business selling xboxs with 200gb hard drives preloaded with 80 games.

He also did get 2 xboxs 30 hard drives and 2 pcs taken, but you've done nothing like what he did...

Yes, 25k would be 36k CAD. But I don't think this is of any relevance. This is probably just a prank call. The police wouldn't just call you and tell you "you have to pay 25k". They would come by your house, and give you some official papers. But the fact that it was just a phonecall makes this just BS.
