hmmm.... this is getting harder and harder. do you have a dash installed? even if its the msdash, can you boot to it with your mod-chip on? if so, try going into it and then insert a disk, see if it runs the program on the disk (try a game first, and if the game works, try your evox boot disk)

what does it say when you put your disk in? does it do anything?

edit: i believe the vga patch is for hooking up a pc monitor using one of the xbox scene tutorials

it says that it cannot recognize disk, ms dash will only boot retail games and music disk.

that makes it sound like you disk works but for some reason you bios isnt booting your disk on startup. mess around with the settings a little, find a way to get the bios to boot the disk on startup. ill look through mine and see if i missed anything

edit: use a game first and if teh game boots then you can try using your evox disc

i got mine to boot by disabling the disable cdrom boot and then going to other startup tweaks then dvd boot name and typing default.xbe and then pressing y to store it. then i put my game in, restarted my xbox, and it booted the game. try this and tell me what happens

i have been trying to install evox for the last three days, at this point i would gladly pay for a working evox dvd.
