heres a setup that worked for me

xbox:
IP=192.168.1.101
Gateway=192.168.1.100

pc=192.168.1.100
gateway=192.168.1.100
you can change ur computers ip by going to network connections, right click on ur ethernet adapter, properties, scroll down to internet protocol(tcp/ip) and click properties again, then click use the following ip address and filling in the boxes. as for teh subnet mask, after entering teh ip and gateway, just clicking in the box should automatically fill it in.

ok well back to the dvd. first you got the evox files, then used a program such as qwix to make an xiso, and then u burned it using nero or a similar program, is that all correct?

try burning just the xiso with out a dummy file to a cd-r/rw. make sure that on nero no multi session is selected and finalize cd is selected. also try bringing down the write speed to around 4x

edit: check ur bios agian. it would look like this: bios boots>x3 config live>customize x3 bios> and then scroll to teh bottom until u find the cdrom boot

mine says check clock for errors at the bottom, and dashboard boot drive above that.
