« on: July 14, 2005, 06:31:00 PM »

get your evox folder, use a program like craxtion or quix to create an xiso of it, then burn that bitch to some kind of blank media (blank dvd or something, although thats a serious waste of space, you may want to put other programs on that to), make sure you finalise the disc. Now on the xbox, stick it in the drive, then just copy the folder over the xbox, or if your making it your main dash, then put the files inside the evox folder into the root of c and point your x3 chip at it.

edit* or get slayers disc, its on that provided you can get it to boot

yeh most install discs require cdr/cdrw though, so just open up the iso and add a dummy file til its suitable size for dvd

it should be in the config live options or somewhere. just set it to boot from disk at startup

The only thing i see that might be applicable is to disable "autostart x3 Config Live"

i THINK it might be disabled cdrom boot but im not totally sure. try that. its the last option in the x3 config live setup menu thing.(the same one the autostart option is in, just go down)

that may bet the problem but idk

Edit: wait a minute, ur trying to get evox on ur hdd right? cause the x3 bios has built in ftp, so if you can ftp with ur computer, do it that way.

only if its different in the xiso. if the .xbe in the xiso is named default.xbe, then leave it. like i said, try ftping.
