This goes for everyone:

I am still giving everyone a warning to not try this yet until we confirm we won't be banned.

It has been 3 days & it has never tooken me or alkane that long to get banned (usually takes only a couple of hours-overnight) so we know you will not be banned with the same eeprom on multiple xbox's. But we have to wait a couple more days to make sure we don't get banned cause we changed the mac address.

If we get banned tonight or the next couple of days, it is because of the mac address change but hoefully we won't.

so with the eeprom prog i can take the unbanned eeprom off the unbanned xbox and put it on the banned box therefore making the banned eeprom/xbox a unbanned xbox ?......Also how long (approx) does it take to rip an eeprom and place in onto another xbox.....sorry for asking so many questions but i dont wanna screw up the unbanned xbox......thanx

yes, if you take the eeprom from ur unbanned xbox & put it in ur banned xbox then your banned xbox will become unbanned.

It takes about 5 seconds to rip the eeprom with evox when you go to "Backup" in evox & then it takes about 30 sec-1min to unlock, flash the unbanned eeprom, & relock ur HD with eepromer.

then ur done & you have 2 unbanned xbox's---don't try this for a couple of days until we confirm that changing the mac does not get you banned.

I read on xecuter's site that you could start your backed up game with the mod on but switch the mod off right after the game boots and you could play on live with the backed up game.

Has anyone tested this?

yes there is, xecuter announced they were working in that!
The only thing is they also said along time ago that they were working on a ps1 emu, and i have never heard anything about it since, but i think they are to busy doing other things first.

Possibly, but they are sure wasting a lot of eeproms to do it. I don't see this ever happening...

Okay guys I'd like to lay down the facts:

No, you can not unban an Xbox by simply changing the MAC address.

You can unban your Xbox by flashing your Xbox using an EEPROM from an unbanned Xbox.

I have a tutorial I wrote on changing the EEPROM but I'm updating it with new instructions on changing MAC addresses.  Please do not attempt this until we have confirmed we will not be banned.

Also, do not try going on Xbox Live with a modchip having ever been on that session (while it's on).  What I mean is don't turn your Xbox on with a modchip then try turning it off.  This will get you banned.

I hope I've cleared up any confusion.
