Oblivion Problem
« on: October 08, 2006, 09:20:00 PM »

Okay, so here is the deal. I have flashed my Hitachi 47D plenty of times now. The only problem is my Oblivion won't play, like two seconds into the Bethesda intro my Xbox says it is a unreadable disk. It worked prior to downloading content on Xboxlive Marketplace but even after I delete all of Oblivions things of my HDD it still says its unreadable. So, when I boot the game on my console without a HDD the game boots fine, but on my friends even with the HDD and hacked firmware it works fine. Any ideas?

oh.. this is the backup forum so i just assumed.

you might have better luck in gen hardware, ill move it after this post.

did you try the 360's version of clearing the cache?

oblivion is a pretty DVD intensive game, maybe you just have a dying dvd drive?
