Is he sure the saves aren't just being added at the bottom of the list?

Mine started doing that when I hit save no. 600 (what can I say? I'm compulsive).  Annoying, but no harm done.

ya, they also might go to the bottom if you aren't connected to live and lose the time and date, it thinks they are like from 2000 or something, and thus sorts them all in front of the 2006 saves.

I never understood why they made it so you had to scroll through umpteen saves to get the newest.  I just assumed there was a way to correct it but I was too lazy to go find out how.

I just keep like 5 saves and problem gone.

A friend told me that after not playing oblivion for a few months the game stopped him from saving. From what he said: it will allow him to load but when he tries to save, it says ok but nothing gets saved. When he tired to overwrite his game save, it just erased it. blink.gif
I told him to free up some space and try the clear cache trick but nothing worked. Any suggestions? I hope that this doesn't happen to me.

I heard about a glitch that after 150 hours into the game it just freezes. Bethesda didn't work out the bugs in the system because nobody in marketing or testing played it over 150 hours and that is still where the problem lays today.
