Dvd-x V2 Issue
« on: February 05, 2003, 09:42:00 AM »

Hi all,
Just had a problem with DVDX v2 - I'm pretty new at all this, but havent used DVDx before.
Anyway, with the S-controller, how do you access the "Shift" instructions?
On the help, it says to use the "Left Thumb Button" and you can access the alternate controls (especially for FF/RW, Setup, etc) - however, when I try to use the Left Trigger or Back or Start buttons (the only buttons on the left side of the controller), they do not give me access to the alternate controls (left trigger jumps back a channel, and back and start do what they say on the primary control scheme). Any ideas here?

Can one modify the .ini to specify what the buttons do?

Thanks,
Jiggy

Sure you are pushing the Left ANALOGUE stick and not the left trigger? - pushing the analogue sticks down acts as a further button like on PS2

Ugh! A friend just told me how it worked - it's a syntax problem. I took "down" to be stick down or toward the person. It should be called pressing the analogue stick IN - i.e. IN to the joypad.

Never had a PS2, so I didnt know that. Thanks for the info though.
