0079fl Flashin Question

Yo, well i got my maximus passkey installed and i have dumped the firmware ok, but when i go to flash i get some warning messages and i dont know what to do. when i click read and detect differences it says alot of keys where found if you flash them all you might brick your drive then it comes up do you want to keep all the keys on your drive. i dunno what to do here and i dont wanna brick it

I would say check, re-check and re-check again that the install is perfect in every way before you do anything else.

Are you using the very latest ver of Maximus Firmware Toolbox and how are you connecting the drive to ypur PC and does your PC have a compatible SATA chipset.

Read, re-read and re-read again the tut's in the tut section until you can see the words with your eyes closed in the dakest void of space.

Then check everything once more for good luck.

there is no proper tutorial for the 0079fl, well i went to do the same flash and this time it didnt read as many keys so i went and flashed but wont play backups but will play originals, this is doing my head in

I had the same situation as yours. Removing the passkey after flashing solved everything. Give it a try.
