Mhawk134:

Does the 360 need to be powered on during reading/writing for this to function?

ok ,lets talk about J1F1 alternative points
here is pic of old motherboard and alternative points for it :

and here is pic of newer board with hdmi :

so i think we can use R2B19 and R2B16 as alternative points on newer motherboards, but where is R2B18 ? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The 360 just needs to be plugged into the power brick.  Also some people are getting errors when reading the NAND, this is a known issue and I think Tiros is working on it. It has to do with hard ware issues.

I was just wondering what exact type of parallel socket you are soldering the resistors and wire to.  Do you have any pictures of the other side available?

Cheers

No I don't have any of the other side, I figured that was kinda obvious that it had to be the type that would fit in the back of the pc.

hey Mhawk134 how would we compare the nand reads(what I can assume are dumps) just copy two reads into a folder then use the same method in the Im Rick James Bitch method with command prompt? Sry I don't have a Xenon but I'm just wondering what to expect when the falcon boards can be dumped.

Ahh, I assumed you connected a printer cable to the PC then connected a separate socket which was connected to the 360 to that cable.

You can use a hex editor, and hash checker, and the Nand tools.

Mhawk can I just dump my NAND then directly flash Xenon_hack.bin? then I take it xell is booted from the dvd drive? or do I have to use imgbuild still?

Sorry if my question is obvious, just I'm trying to understand all this stuff at once  laugh.gif cheers.

I think if you use the Xenon_hack.bin it will be like the demo video that was on the main page.
So Im guessing there arnt any loaders use so you will just be left with command line.

Im in the process or doing it now. 29mins left to write lol dang print port is slow, slower then dial up.

Also if your not good at soldering wait for some one to come up with a easy solder board.
Like how you had the LPC rebuild board on the xbox 1.6

Shows the same thing that was posted a while back booting Xell.  Just posting this so that people know what everybody else can do it also.

Also some people have a problem with there LPT port reading the flash.  You may have to install a 1N914 diode, Tiros said any switching diode should work.
