With some more features to be announced in the coming weeks, rumors are already circulating about the mysterious Xbox event September 25th, with the possible announcement of a free Halo 3 map pack, preview of GTA IV DLC and the partnership with Sirius XM satelite radio. Rumor has it, you will be able to stream Sirius radio on your Xbox without any other hardware, while playing games. If this rumor is actually true, it will make the Xbox the best home entertainment deal out there. Does Playstation 3 have a chance after this possible holiday massacre?

Well, a rumour, not news... yet.

Plus, what is to bet, that as usual, it won't be available outside the USA, just like netflix etc. etc.

Meh, I got Sirius free for three years with my car.. I'm not impressed with it, and I would NEVER pay for it.

If this is true. I think it would be a great feature. My thumb drive cant fit all my music. And I dont like the idea of streaming from my PC. The only thing that concerns me is bandwidth. I hope it doesnt take alot.

First announced on September 8th, debunked on September 11th.

It's too bad, I have a lifetime subscription to SIRIUS and I own a little stock in SIRI and I thought this would have been a perfect partnership for both sides.

There is good news... You can get SIRIUS (or XM) on Xbox 360 today. Read my guide for all the details: http://forum.freeipodguide.com/about60670.html

I know this is a 360 site, but the fact the people keep saying the ps3 is going to end up in a grave makes me laugh.  I love my 360, i play it about 80% vs ps3 20%.  Sure, maybe this winter the ps3 will end up in the ground.  Watch next year when it pulls a jesus and comes back to life.

And why would it need hardware???  Any pc can stream an xm/sirius account.

Another thing the UK doesn't get grr.gif

I wouldn't slate of the PS3 like that, some good titles are coming out like Wipeout HD, LittleBigPlanet and some others. Oh and home isn't far of, I'm much more looking forward to that than the crappy 360 Avatars.

So MS what are you going to give us instead of Sirius XM and Netflix????????????
