First off (not to start a flame war, but...)
Dude, PICK UP YOUR GAMES! at $60 a pop you should have a little more care than leaving them on the floor (i doubt your mom vacumes your shelves) Ok, now, back on topic.
Im glad MS is finally allowing use to view some video without a MC PC, hopefully Transcode 360 will adapt to the new options and let us watch DivX that way. OR (wishful thinking) Have the 360 temporarily use any codec's installed on your PC! (again, very wishful thinking) I guess MS did listen when they asked us what we wanted in the next update, or at least partially. So anyone complaining that its only WMV, its still better than nothing!
I don't see the point in having MCE PC connected to the x360. If you're going to have a MCE PC you have to have it connected to a large LCD/Plasma TV or it is such a waste.
Mine is connected to my x360 but I have my PC pluged into to my LCD Samsung TV so there is no need for the x360 apart from games.
If they really want to improve something why not have 2 cores switched off and only use 1 core in low level frequency by having an option to turn off live when playing the DVD at 2x speed and reduce fans to 20%.
If they don't do that I'm not playing a DVD on my x360 until it is water cooled.
