I installed this latest SVN over the last SVN and skin is not filling out the screen any longer.  I went calibrate and it was lining up correctly.  My setup is 720p 16x9 wide.  The skin is not going to the edge on the sides, but the pictures in the skin do go to the edge on the right side.

First off, non-T3CH or pure SVN builds aren't supported here.

That said, the picture zoom issue has been around for a while now (dunno if it's been fixed in the latest build or not), and the builds I have used also don't keep track of the last image viewed.

Oh! My fault!
I'm sorry!

Matter of fact I did not know what PIMPED could mean until now...
Thank you very much for the info!

I will start hunting only the official T3CH builds from now on!
Cheers,
Cospefogo.

I mean, is the Weather more important than the File Manager?  huh.gif

If you ask me - yes. But that's personal taste. Why don't you just edit it yourself? It's not THAT diffiult to figure out. And special wishes usually require some effort. smile.gif

To this day I still don't understand why the Filemanager and Weather items haven't yet traded positions in PM III's main menu. I mean, is the Weather more important than the File Manager?  huh.gif

Ha! Bingo meu amigo!
Ótimo comentário!
(Bingo my friend!
Nice comment!)

I am with you.
For me, the File Manager is much more important than the weather!
Maybe it is customizable... Let me check the documentation!

Cheers!

Question about TEXTURES.XPR:

For every new build, I used to replace the official icons for
my own icons, using the XBMCtex tool by Mr. Mathias,
the Chokemaniac to create my own textures.xpr.

Looking on the actual changelog I found this:
2006-10-11  6991  changed: Added building of Textures.xpr to build.bat, and removed Textures.xpr from CVS.
2006-10-11  6989  added: built.bat to build PM3 skin
2006-10-11  6988  added: Build of XBMCTex.exe that does not rely on the XDK
2006-10-11  6987  removed XDK dependency of XBMCTex

Is there a way to keep building my own private textures.xpr
as I used before? Is that possible to get the build.bat somewhere in the net?

Sorry but I am pretty confused about what is CVS, T3CH, PIMPED releasesand
all similar terms I found on XBMC downloads! CVS is the place where I got
"official" uncompressed textures to work with my XBMCtex tool.
Also, I used them to create PMIII like screens for all Xport emulators.

Any feedback regarding this info will be highly appreciated!
Cheers,
Cospefogo.

You grab build.bat in the same place as you got the textures.  From SVN.

And you don't need it anyway - all it does is builds the Textures.xpr file using XBMCTex.  You already have XBMCTex, so can just continue to do what you always did.

I m on the same network as my PC and yet when i try to browse for the smb share it doesn't find anything.

I can manually put in the IP of the share and it works. Any ideas?

This build broke my ability to run .xbe files.  Pretty weird, definitely a localized issue.  I installed it a few times though to make sure and whenever i ran a game or homebrew app it just restarted xbmc.  Very strange.  Downgrading to the 3-12 release fixed it up.

I am still having a problem with the updated PMIII skin filling the screen.  I calibrated months ago when I first installed XBMC and everything was fine.  I put in this update and now it is not filling the screen on all 4 sides.  When I go to the calibrate screen the corners are at the corners.  What am I missing or what do I need to do to fix?

Thanks

If your screen is calibrated properly it should be fine but go play with the skin zoom settings and either set it to zero or 2

although this does seem to be an issue for some not everyone gets it so please start providing information like
*Xbox version
*Bios type / version
*Harddrive type
*if you have a g: drive or just a f:
*if your harddrive is locked
*softmod or modchip (what type of modchip/softmod)
*video mode NTSC/PAL
*do you have Filter flicker patcher on
*do you have auto change regions for games on
*anything else you think is usefull

Most of this stuff can be found in the system ifo page and may greatly help us in fixing the issue if we can see a pattern

Thank you, Jmarshall!
Tonight I will install the latest T3CH build and I was worried
in advance because I noticed a big difference in the size (Kb) of
the TEXTURES.XPR files. Yesterday build is 10 Mb smaller!!!!!!!

XBMC-2.0.0-FINAL-SLIM-FIXED-T3CH --- Around 25.080 Kb
XBMC-SVN_2007-03-18_rev8233-T3CH-LTCG --- 14.341 Kb.

This made me think that recent builds were using other method
of packing the textures.xpr (maybe even with less PNG's, etc etc)

Anyway, will make my tests in few hours!
Cheers! Thanks again!
Cospefogo.

PS. I was thinking... Do I need to re-download ALL TEXTURES directory
from SVN again? The current textures I have here were downloaded
just after the 2.0.0 final build release! I think I need the actual
SVN textures to compile my newer textures.xpr, correct?

Oh man... It's a huge work to download all those files from SVN one by one!

in the main menu settings somewhere they have a dashboard shortcut that was pointing to some weird directory. i changed it to my real xbmc default.xbe and it fixed this exact problem. i think it was in the settings menu where you can turn on the flicker filter shit for games and stuff.
