1.0 X-bit And 1.6v Xbox

will a 1.0 xbit work on a 1.6 xbox?
If not, will trying kill anything?
I have already done the LPC rewire and flashed the chip.
I have the harness from the xbit hardwired in and am redy to go.

PLEASE STOP ME IF I AM GOING TO KILL MY FRIENDS BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
