Flashing Help
« on: July 09, 2004, 04:09:00 AM »

It is on the USB Dongle / Daougherboard.

Xou need to make sure that both the Yellow and Black Patch Cables,
are connected to the X-B.I.T and it's USB Dongel.

Needless to say the X-B.I.T proper need to be installed correctly.
This sould not be a problem with 1.2+ XBOX'es with non filed LPC holes!
The Chip should just slide in. The only known problem is the D0 Point.
It may need to be cleaned! So that the Pogopin that sits over this D0 Point
can make a proper contact!

So long as the X-B.I.T is correctly connected to the XBOX and its Daughterboard.
You should have a small Diode (LED) that will tell you that the Chip is getting
power.

Note the LED will NOT lite up if you have Dipswitch Four (4) turned on! (e.g. Up!)
you need to set this Switch to it's off (Down position).

When you need to Flash all Dipswitches must be DOWN! (i.e. Off!).
Afterwards you can set the Switches by using the Chart on the lower right
(in the Flasher Program). Note this is for setting the Banks 1~6 not the partitions
1~6. Ex. Partition Six, Bank Six would be: One: On Two: Off Three: On Four: Off
