i would suggest you blaw air out for all of the fans you have....... taking hot air AWAY from the chip board components........

i have 5 fans total on my box and they are all blowing out...........

o_O Where does the air inflow come from  blink.gif

agreed.......wire tied are metal as well.......so it gives a slight danger to your xbox as well..... but i can pretty sure you have taken the properrr precaution for that already........i would use plastic zipties..............

Ok, didn't think of that... I'll replace them as soon as I get some zip ties.

does your HDD trey fit over that fan???? it's not made for a replacement, only a round fan fits... meaning you gotta cut the edges.... i dunno, maybe yours does... happy.gif

Here are some pics of my dvd tray in with my the 80mm rear fan after I had trimmed the hd tray down to fit...
The cuts are  kinda crude because I did them with a dull *dollar store* brand utility knife and pliers, lol

if you can give me the temps in cel ill compare them to my temps. i have 2 hdd shoved in my case with a 80mm 12volt fan..

From doing to many pc mods to remember you have to have the same amount of air coming into a case going out.
Other wise you have turbulence which negates the fact you have 5 fans on a xbox you would have better results 3 sucking and 2 blowing then all 5 blowing

the xbox has vents in the bottom of the front panel where it gets sucked in from..... there are also vents in the back as well............

Well... I didn't think about the vents in the front, but the metal casing cover's all the vents in the back except for the one that the fan is covering. Unless you took the casing off...

But it is REALLY bad on all those fans to have 5 high powered 12v fans sucking air out of the xbox, and only about a total of 3 square inches for air to be sucked in with force, and on the other side of those three inches squared is a metal grating with small holes in it. Think about it...

I also have the 5 fans on my XBOX but my 4 side fans are intake fans and the stock one I replaced is the exhaust.
