Tried them all. Was happy with XBMC for a while but eventually didnt need the media player so went back to Avalaunch. Im bouncing back and forth between MXM and AVA.

and a crappy music manager(no navigation)
unleashx is stable, has more features ,and can create skins to put avas looks to shame

SHA the boot screen in ava dosnt slow down the boot time or anything it just is beeter to be looking at an image rather than just a black screen.

I had to start with Evox, and then I found AVA, then I had to try MXM because BenJeremy says how great it is, but it isn't. Then I tried UnleashX, if it didn't crash every time, I would have stuck with it, but then I found Ava again, and it's been fun since then.

If you truly belong here on the Scene you must try them all... only way to know that Avalaunch is the best is to try the rest... I actually prefer the hacked dashes but I hate having to edit files everytime I add a game or remove one... sucks.

Started with Evox like all other noobs on the scene. I liked that it lacked features, so I couldn't screw up my xbox. Then I started messing with my xbox more and wanted more.

Tried MXM for a while. I liked that you could write your own scripts, which I did for like 1/2 a week. Tried XBMC the rest of the week, but it just felt wrong.

Then I found Ava and been on it ever since. When .49 dropped, it straight changed the game. I almost wet myself when I downloaded and installed XBMC 1.0 all from AVA, so it ain't goin nowhere.

But now I'm playing with UnleashX. Explore your memcard in the file manager, gamesave manager, text editor, and you can set the clock from there too. Hot! Skinning is better than AVA but theres no ACAM. Perhaps we can get a collaboration going? Add AVA functions in UnleashX or vice-versa and call it AVALeash! Hell, even throw in Action scripting from MXM. Call it AVALeash Menu!!!

Oh, then there's I guess M$ Dash...

Avalaunch rules... it's super-stable (it only crashed on me once), and has all the functions i need, and some more

. the only thing i think it's missing it's animated skins (i know that it'll slow the dash, but you only use animated skins if you want...)

i use AVA, unleashx, and evox.... juts because they are the only ones i've found that will load from the F:\ drive (in subfolders) without having to screw around with it
