Is It True?!?!
« on: April 15, 2006, 04:58:00 PM »

Your post doesn't really make any sense.

But.....

The replacement cables that MS sent out to Xbox owners, does in fact have a "reset" button on it.

However, it isn't a button to reset the Xbox. Think of it more as a circuit breaker. If the Xbox's PSU shorts, it'll pop the "circuit breaker" in the replacement power cable. In order to make it work again, you have to "reset" it by pressing the "reset" button.

....where your hard drive comes into play, I have no idea.

yeayeayea but i dont think it was the new 1s that they sent out. it was the power cables that came with the old xbox... but yea it might be like a circut thing. i c that button on a hair dryer

No.

The old power cable was just like the new ones. ...except, I don't think they had that cylidrical magnet thing on it. (I know it's not really a magent. But I can't remember what it is. ...magnesium?)

Yes.

Hair dryers also have the same type of circuit breaker.

Why do you use a hair dryer?

Ah don't we all.

This is one of the funniest, albeit immature, topics around recently. On par with the topic "Can I play xbox games on my PC if I put the xbox DVD and HDD in it?" a few posts above(well now below...) this one.

um noo i want to know  if i can ACESS the Xbox on my computer by switching the HD
