Drive Orders On Ide Cable.
« on: March 20, 2005, 11:34:00 PM »

I need to know this for my Xbox-in-an-Amp project.

Can the hd be connected to the first part and the dvd drive be on the end?

If not, is there anyway I can change this? Also, if not, is there such thing as an IDE cable extension, like one side female and the other male?

Thanx,

-Danny

Go here - http://secure.llamma.com/catalog/index.php...f079c3cc42cf219

He is a little pricey, but it may help with what you are looking for, then do a google search, you might find a better price.

He means can the HD take the place of the DVD and the DVD the place of the HD on the IDE cable, like if he was switching sides. Shouldn't cause a problem if you siwtch jumpers....I think.
