QUOTE(Br0k3R @ Feb 16 2010, 12:54 PM) *

i've found my name.txt but i don't know what to do next, can anyone help me?

(IMG:http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/5628/500gbbevt.th.png)

it's 500gb wd5000bevt scorpio blue.

when i've edited xplorer360 with 00 40 73 at offset F0C2 it tells me that thers no FATX partition found.

When i edit HDD with 58 54 41 46 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 10 00 00 00 01 at offset 80000 it says "Failed to read cluster chain maps!"

can anyone help?

I recently installed a scorpio blue 500gig HDD and have exactly the same problem!

With an unaltered (non-edited) xlplorer360 I can see all 3 partitions but have no contents inside partition 3.

If I hex edit 00 40 73 at F0C2 and forward (also tried F0C0 -> as some people suggests - but I think this is the wrong address) xplorer360 either complains and show partition 1-2, or show all 3 but still no content in partition 3.

The HDD works perfectly fine in my xbox, but I need to be able to transfer files to it from PC.

Xplorer, xplorer beta6 and xplorer_xxx_250gb can find and open the disc, but nothing inside partition 3.

Lefluffie, FATXplorer and Modio (spelling?) can't even find the HDD.

My "name.txt "is at the exact same address ass in your picture, namely 1381F1000. I tried to calculate the magic number myself like this:
1381F1000 - 130EB1000 = 7340000
drop last 0 = 73 40 00
then revert the numbers = 00 40 73
This is exactly the same number others report work for 500gig hdds, but not mine, nor Br0k3R.

Also read something about using the first address in the next 512 block, so tried:
1381F1200 - 130EB1000 = 7340200
drop last 0 = 73 40 20
revert = 20 40 73
This still doesn't make me able to see the contents of partition 3.

I'm really stuck now and would need some help figuring this out.
Thanks.

Hello guys, I have a little problem my xbox read Ok all my info in my new 1tb disk but Xplorer360 don't see my 3rd partition I try to mod the xplorer360 like you did but i don't know if my math is correct here so I left you with my info hoping you can help me:
 My name.txt is in the offset 013F661140 So.... 0x 013F661140 - 0x 130eb1000 = 0x E7B0140 > DROP ZERO > E7 B0 14 > group and reverse > 14 B0 E7

(the sector is 10466056 if it helps in anything... )
Am i Right? Please give me a hand I put the numbers in my Xplorer360 and still doesn't work Sad i can't be so dumb...
btw I tried with "1TB : 00 B0 E7 , 0x13f661000" but still nothing

Hello all!

I have a jtag with a brand new 640gb WD and have got everything working (avatar update, divx update, xbox1 compatability etc.) using the tutorial over @ xboxhacker:

http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=13396.60

The only problem is Xplorer 360 won't see my partition 3. So I went back and learned I need to hexedit xplorer to properly display partition 3. Unfortunately there are no "magic numbers" for my drive. Has anyone gotten a 64ogb drive to work and can help out with the numbers?

Or possibly Antman1 can come to the rescue!

Any help is appreciated... I am getting tired of the FTP speeds of about 3.5-5mbps (and would like to leave the 360 off while transferring files).

Nevermind... I have found a hex edited version for the 640gb (google is my friend). A post over at slickdeals had a version for most size laptop drives. PM me for the link  cool.gif

Now if I could just try this from work...

thank you.  that was it.  I had to put it at offset F0C2 though instead of offset F0C0.  Xplorer360 now working like a charm!  Thank you all very very much.  so far here are all the magic numbers I have seen done incase this helps others out.

20GB : 00 78 03 , 0x131229000
60GB : 00 C9 0C , 0x131B7A000
100GB : 00 1A 16 , 0x1324CB000
120GB : 00 C2 1A , 0x132973000
500GB : 00 40 73 , 0x1381F0000
1TB : 00 B0 E7 , 0x13f661000
These will only work for you if name.txt comes less than 512 bytes after the second number above.

I just did this as well on a 640GB drive; numbers are

640GB : 00 DB 93 , 0x13A28C000

Hope that helps some people out as well!

80GB is 00 72 11

Also I've found that if you type in "F0C2" in go to offset, it will take you there if it exists, if not it will put you at "F0C0" which is where you need to be if F0C2 is not there.

If you read closely in the quote of me above you'll see that I wrote: "Lefluffie, FATXplorer and Modio (spelling?) can't even find the HDD."

I have tried with both FATXplorer v1.0 and v1.2 (trial) and neither can open the drive, but instead throws an error about insufficient system resources when trying to sync to the drive. I've seen others having exactly the same error message but the maker of the app refuses to believe its a bug in his code and instead claim we have too little memory and so on (which is not the case here, I have a lot of free memory/9X% idle cpu when trying to start it).

blink.gif  i didn't mean FATXplorer but any program that can explore FATX filesystem ;-)

I think I know what the problem is. I am attempting to fix it in XBox 360 Commander.

I believe the largest drive Xplorer360.exe and others can access is between 250gb and 275gb.
larger drives will result in partition being handled incorrectly. I hope to have a fix for this soon.

XBox 360 Commander now sees jtagged hdd > 250gb

http://forums.xbox-s...&...t&p=4671084

http://forums.xbox-s...&...t&p=4671149

TraJiK has a 1.5tb HDD on a jtagged system.

I would like to hear if this rev works for other size HDDs. Or if it doesn't work.

Yep it works for me too.
WD5000BEVT 500G hard drive, while the other fails, Commander, is the only one to open/read my content.

However i need to click [NO] on every alertboxes (do not update my HDSS and don't use the calculated size).
Otherwise it either crashes or shows empty partitions.
