no controller recharge pack, you have to keep using 6 9-volt batteries that die out in 2 hours...

im willing to bet it dont come with a game... as it should.

There has been no hints about any pricing except for the console itself which was very vague and they havent stated what will come with it but I imagine the console a wireless controller and the hookup cables. I imagine the cable and charger kit will be around $29.99 Although the wireless controllers wil run off of 2 AA batteries and get 40 hours off of each pair.

I know you were joking I was just telling the guy what the wireless controllers will run on because the charge kit won't likely be included, and yes they run off of standard AA batteries or a rechargable battery pack which will come seperate. I don't mind the AA batteries because I can get

Not bad... 2,000 hours worth of batteries for $11, easily dividable between 4 controllers and it will last almost a year, an etnire year if you didn't have all 4 controllers playing everytime you played. Although I can see where the extra money for batteries can be annoying.

Q: What kind of Batteries will the wireless controller use?
A: The Wireless controller will ship with 2 non rechargeable AA batteries. An optional rechargeable battery pack will be available.

AnandTech Article: http://www.anandtech...aspx?i=2424&p=9

Q: How long will the batteries last before dying?
A: Using voice (XBL headset) and rumble at 100% the non rechargeable AA batteries will last about 40hours. The rechargeable battery pack will last between 25 and 30 hours before requiring recharging. This life can be extended if you're not using the XBL headset or if you lower the intensity of the rumble feature (each controller has a switch to change the rumble to: "Full" "Medium" "Light" or "Off") Also controllers will automatically enter "sleep" mode after periods of inactivity.

Q: What happens when the batteries get low in the wireless Xbox360 controllers?
A: When there is two hours of live left in the batteries the "Xbox Guide Button" in the center of the controller will change to alert you that the batteries are getting low (probably change from green to orange). When the battery life reaches 1/2 hour a another change will happen to the Xbox Guide Button (probably change from Orange to Red). If it continues to go unanswered a warning will pop-up on the screen and the controller's rumble function will shut off. You have the option of replacing the batteries, or you will be able to use the controller in a wired configuration. If you have the optional rechargeable battery pack then the wired configuration will charge your batteries. The top of the controller features a port that will allow you to connect a proprietary USB cable between the wireless controller and the Xbox360 console. It is unknown whether or not the port on the top of the controller will have any other functions.

As far as what is included, based on what we know so far:
1 Wireless Xbox360 Controller
2 cheap AA batteries (so you can use the controller out of the box)
1 Wired Headset (plugs into wireless controller)
1 Power Brick (external PSU)
1 Composite/Stereo A/V Cable set
1 Component/Stereo A/V Cable set
1 20GB Hard Drive
1 Trial XBL Membership
Various documents and possibly a demo disc.
