Xbox 360 On Vga Tft?
« on: October 09, 2006, 04:54:00 AM »

yea im pretty sure it would look better on your moniter then your stanard-def tv. I use my moniter sometimes and its 4:3 ratio and in my 360 dash i have the settings to 1024x768 and it works great.

The VGA option allows all options for your monitor. Just set it as your monitor's native resolution. But note that with a 4:3 ratio monitor you will have problems. Most games will have black bars however there are some that will make the ratio very wrong indeed making the game unplayable, e.g oblivion.

yeah 1024*768 does work in 4:3, I just checked on my 360.

Don't even think about a VGA box!
All they do is take that shitty composite /s-video signal then convert it to Vga, so you end up with a horrid blurry bland mess. YUCK grr.gif
