i'm getting no xbox live connection on a box with an updated eeprom.  i tried flashing it again, and now retail mode doesn't see a serial number.  Also, i have static DHCP based on MAC address.  normally, once a box is connected to the network the router assigns the same IP addy to that box.

well, after attempting to fix the issue with the eeprom, i've now go a new IP addy *EVERY TIME THE BOX BOOTS UP!!*
