Light Gun Problems

I tried calibrating my lightgun in both FCE and MAMEoX but to no success.
In MAMEoX no target appears during calubration and I need to restart because I can't get out of the calibration screen.
In FCE the target appears but lightgun doesn't seem to work, can't hit the target no matter what.

I tried both ports 1/2 in both FCE and MAMEoX.
My lightgun is the Typhoon XboX light-gun.

It works with House of the Dead 3 fine btw.
