Softmod Coma Console Fix?

So, after softmodding successfully for a few months (thank you Krayzie!), I've began having Coma Console issues (after playing with LED color settings). Now currently the softmod is removed, but the Coma Console still persists. I can re-softmod it, but once I do that, is there any way to replace the eeprom? Or am I stuck going with either TSOP or a Chip?
