Its okay. The X-ecuter team have acknowledged there is a problem with the X2 4980.06 and X2 4980.76 bioses on Xbox's that are booting from the msdashboard. They've sticked it on their forums.

Does this mean that all the people that have been working so hard to find the hex offsets for color and animation and such will have to start all over again for the new bios?

I doubt it, unless they change more than what they have said.

I was about to flash my chip with this bios.  I have x2.3 lite and 120 gig hd...been working forever..and boots straight to avalaunch.  I have avadash.xbe and xboxdash.xbe on my C: just in case.

I would be able to boot up using this bios right??  since I put avadash.xbe on there?

I was just trying to clear some things up.  Basically they are saying if your xbox boots xboxdash.xbe then you need to wait on their new bios right???  Well since avadash.xbe is my dash on my C: then shouldnt' the 4980 bios find it first instead of xboxdash.xbe??

The error is not SERIOUS... because you can't do anything from the MS dash with the chip on that you couldn't do with it off...

The next step is to boot from DVD.... which you can still do.

TEAMXECUTER provides a FREE bios to the scene, yes free as in you pay nothing.  If you don't like it... use a different bios.

I have no intent to start a flame war.  They're just mistakes, and it can happen.
