Splash.png Freezing Xbox Onload

I replaced the default splash.png file with the XBMC360 logo.
upon rebooting the system would freeze and I was unable to FTP to the xbox to correct the problem.

I had to use a boot cd to delete the file.
Again it froze, no splash.png this time.

I restored the default splash.png file and everything works fine.  uhh.gif
