Question About Sound Cutting Out In Xbox Games.

I use Qwix to send ISO files (of games I own. I don't have a super large Xbox HDD so I keep a lot of them ripped to my PC hard drive) to my console, and they play fine. Sometimes the sound will completely cut out in Guilty Gear X2 and Capcom Vs. SNK, though. Is there any reason for this?
