Xbox v1.2

1.2 requires a 256k bios

you probably put a bad bios on there (or wrong version)... or the flash didn't complete itself.

You need to put on a 29 wire mod to fix it, or put on an LPC mod and leave it on there.

if you flashed with the LPC mod trick just try it again.

you can also just tie the A19 and A18 address lines to ground.  this forces it to read first bank 4 times.

dvd rom means nothing, what brand TSOP do you have?

that would be your memory.
you have v1.0 (1Meg)

the tsop is near the top write enable point you must have soldered.

solder ground to A19 and A18 in the first pic in this tut.

ground is that red circle on that yellow block.

no switch, just wires.  then see if it will boot.

this is only for when you flashed a 1M tsop with a 256K bios.

let us know how it goes.

no, you have to boot with A19 and A18 grounded, then cut them while it is on (you may have to run long wires out of the box).

then flash with a 1M.
