obvious there's tons of gaming source codes in the net but the list above seems interesting, worth porting.

I posted probably 20 suggestions to Xport a while back.  Some he added to his maybe list.  But there are plenty of open-source games out there.

I'd really like to see a Planeshift port, so that we could play a free, quality MMO on the XBox.

Apparently you have never actually played Planeshift, lol. Actually I used to work for them, and probably shouldn't say things like that. Really I think Planeshift is a great candidate... Except it is beyond buggy on PC, downright dangerous on mac(Actually destroyed my friend's HDD) I highly doubt an XBOX port would ever get past the loggin screen.

I know people who play it regularly and they rave about it.  I've never heard one complaint.

Perhaps it has advanced past it's buggy state?

And it is pretty hard for a program to accidentally trash a HDD.  The OS handles the file allocation tables.  The program might write bad data, but it shouldn't trash a HDD.  Now, Pools of Raidence 2 would destroy your Windows XP install if you tried to uninstall the game, but that is the exception to the rule.

Edit: I just pulled up their bugtracker, and it looks quite reasonable to me.
