ok so many questions
sorry for not getting back here sooner to reply.
ok there were problems using the new x2 and evox bios's
that has been worked out, there is a thread on this already but I will briefly explain.
the old way of doing a multibios involved holding a18, and/or a19 to ground, this method did not work with the new bios images released that support both 1.0 and 1.1 xbox's, nor did it work with and 1.1 hacked bios at all.
the new method is using a switch to select between gnd or +vcc to force the tsop to the propper bank. just taking gnd off is not enough
my xbox is a version 1.1
my bios is
MS + MS + 4796.02 + 4796.02
I have a SPDT switch installed (for those who dont know this switch has 3 contacts.) the center contact goes to A19, the top goes to +vcc, the bottom to ground. (you could reverse the top and bottom wires, as long as you are selecting between +vcc and GND)
this does work I can confirm I have done this with several xbox's already.
I have also used evox D6 eject fix instead of 4796.02.
those 2 wires I told you about will force your xbox to boot one of the X2 bios's inside your tsop, while still ignoreing the other quadrents. once you get evox up and running cut both wires.
this is the thread if you want better diagrams then what i'm describing.
