me too  smile.gif
i would rather have an updated version, the xbox 2 is going to be awhile before it comes out, and even when it does come out it will take awhile before it can be hacked
so why not have another version of the pcsxbox
please xport  smile.gif

about the FFT

im not sure if this will work
this was used for saving it
it was said to use the save states on a part when the screen wasn't moving
the best place was said when reading a rumor at the bar
im hoping that this will also help it load the game

could someone confirm this for me, i don't have the game on my xbox
if this is true then i'll add it to the "tips" section up on top

about the Dragon warrior VII - if this game does not work, then ill mark it up top as it not working
you did say you used everyway possible to try and play this game, so then it must be a non-working game

Doesn't work. I tried that right after I started having problems and it still locks up when trying to load the state. sad.gif

QUOTE (GSBS @ Jul 8 2004, 09:08 PM)
The compatibility list isn't very accurate. When the list was started, I suspect many people rushed the results. It seems many games confirmed working are only played 5 secs beyond the opening FMV. Misleading indeed.

So...

Contra: Legacy of War
NTSC - US
Both Modes

In 2P, the game freezes at the character select screen, both modes. Single player works fine.

Final Fantasy Tactics
NTSC - US
Both Modes

Save states DO NOT LOAD when saved during battle. When loaded, the game comes to a halt. Outside of battle, the situation varies. Aswell, no configuration for memory card saving has worked for me. Any suggestions?

Glad to see someone else besides me wants to continue/clean up this list.

The only way to get the memory card to work is to set it to use memory card slot 2 only. But like I said, you need to run BIOS mode to do this, and well, then the game runs at like less than 50%.

Yup, I rushed into posting. When I saw your post about FFT, I was relieved I wasn't the only one having problems.

Oh well, there's always hope we get a perfect PSX emulator for the Xenon.

Deathx88,

In my first post where I said that "Rogue Trip is exactly the same", I meant that it runs the same as Critical Depth.  It's best to disable CDDA because the music gets choppy.  Also, can you please update Twisted Metal with my tip on how to see the menus (enable "Old Frame Skipping")?

Thanks.

As for DWVII, no, the game is unplayable.

After the initial FMV and opening sequence, you are brought to a menu screen that flashes black 95% of the time, and responds to no button pressing. Without response, you cannot proceed to play the game.

If you could import a save from a PC emulator to bypass the menu problem, you may be able to play the game.

An addendum to GSBS's post:

I did get past those flashing menu's (once).  They were name entry / new game menus and the game started fine.  Only problem was there was NO DIALOGUE text.  That made me a sad panda and I just gave up after that.

Colony Wars Vengeance - Game loads up fine in both HLE and BIOS mode, however menu screen comes to a hault while sound is still playing, this is easily fixed when "Lazy screen updates" option is turned on. The games framerate drops to an unacceptably low speed as soon as games stages begin.

PS: To thread starter, you can shorten this description as you see fit.

Omega Boost (PAL): Works great in bios mode, default settings, old frameskip on.

Tai Fu (PAL): Works great in bios mode, default settings, old frameskip on.

Virtual Sex:
&
Virtual Sex 2:

Both work really well in bios mode and are great icebreakers at formal parties.
(Given the right lighting and correctly placed shag carpeting) (A twangy bass guitar played in the background helps immeasurably too)

I've read every single post on his forum and the pinned one as well and it seems know one is yet to mention One piece grand battle, heck it's not even on the list. So if anyone has played the game and it worked, please fill me in on your settings. Onegai!!!!! happy.gif

P.S. It's one piece mansion...not "one peace"...just for the record. I'm a big fan so...well someone get back to me on the game.

I used default settings and it works fine.  Battles do play a bit slow though, but its still very playable...if you do turn on the battle fix in the settings, they play much more smooth, but the audio of the game gets laggy...and for me, since the game's music is extremely amazing, id rather have perfect music and suffer a bit during battles with lag...but maybe thats just me heh
