I do believe so, i'm pretty sure i read someone wrote some code in 'vim' (linux text editor) and compiled it under linux...so i don't see why you wouldn't be able to!

thanx. I figured out that i could just write out the source code, and compile with cygwin. I cant figure out how to use it though. Will someone please walk me through making a simple ,"Hello World" program? And please dont just point me to another tutorial, Ive read them all.
