is the chance of having a game menu along with pics getting slim?  Hopefully we will have ftp in the bios soon so we wont need that in the dash IF its possible.  After that it will be pretty much complete i think.

For those of you who got it downloaded, and working, what program did you use to unzip it, the 2 I tried give an error.

QUOTE
dlux using the method you used to search for games, isnt that close to have an autosearch? The code for getting XBE titles must already be available in memory3.xap, and with your code for finding XBEs it could be workable.

memory3.xap doesn't do any searching itself, that stuff is all done by the xboxdash.xbe. The only way that I can think of to get a menu that autoloads, is to code every instance of every program into a function, and use "ntfileexists" to figure out whether or not the programs are on the xbox or not.

this would obviously be alot more code, but it would mean that the average user who downloads the tutorial could just place the code where they are told to, and not have to worry about editing it for their xbox.

If anyone wants to take the time to make this list, go for it.

if someone does decide to do this, and they want to make it eisier to use, they should split it into four different functions (dashboards, applications, emulators, games)

As far as I know I'm resigning right. I used winxip to resign with no luck and I used pixit to resign with no luck.

1.  Start with a fresh clean unedited set of xip/xbe files.
2.  Save the xip after you add/replace all the xaps to that certain xip.
3.  Go To File Resign Dashboard.
4.  Browse for you xboxdash.xbe file
5.  Using the BROWSE button at the very bottom to select the folder that "ALL" your xips are in to resign.
6.  Start back at 1 on each xip you edit.

Hope that helps a little.

Thanks sooo much.
The Browse button was the key. I was using the Add button.
I guess the add button, selecting the files, doesnt work the same as the browse button and selecting the folder.
