Access X3 Lcd From Linux?

If I have an Xecuter 3 chip driving an LCD on the front of my xbox would I be able to interface with that LCD to send performance data from Linux to the LCD?

I'm looking for something similar to the SmartLCD is able to send data from Windows apps to a parallel LCD.

Any help with this would be helpful.  I'm def. a n00b with just enough knowledge to do some damage but I'd prefer to avoid that.
