Premod Will Start But Won't Boot To Os

Just got back my premod in tme for Christmas for my son. I had to send it back because it was fragging. Now when I start it up It goes to a screen the says Welcome to Smartxx The 5'th Generation and below that it says enter in Red. I cannot access it. Before I sent it back which was for the second time the OS screen would start and I had a few games and apps loaded the only problem was the fragging. I have my Smartxx disk, is there something on there that will help me?

the disc is just xebian linux...

never heard of that happening.. have you made a post about it on the smartxx forums?

try the emergncy boot, and restore everything...

I have posted on the Smartxx forum and the one reply I got was the controller port may be bad or the chip is shot. I aslo have a tech support request in with the people I bought the premod from. What is the emergency boot? I can look through the vents on the xbox and see the red and blue lights flashing.
