Good afternoon,

I've done some research and talked to some people and still am unsure about this issue...

here's what I dd...

1. installed my solderless x-bit
2. installed a new 120gig HDD
3. flashed my chip
    3.1 used the x-bit program
    3.2 flashed the m7 bios with the eject fix into the bank 6 bios 6 of the x-bit prog.
4. set my dip switch to read bios 6
5. inserted the Slayer auto-install v2.5
6. turned off xbox rebooted
7. using option 3-1 on the evolution x dashboard I formatted my HD
8. turned xbox off
9. turned it back on and the xboxdash borad comes on instead of the evolution x one.

You can actually see the bios in the slayer evox dashboard when I run the boot cd.  I've read that all the bios spaces in one bank found on the x-bit program had to be filled... either with the same bios or different ones ..  I've only got the bios 6 in bank 6 filled could this be the problem?

I've read on modifying the ini file but didn't think was required with the auto installer.

Either the bios you used is NOT set up to FIRST look for

C:\evoxdash.xbe

OR

You didn't rename the evolution-X dashboard XBE to evoxdash.xbe
