X.b.i.t Flashing (need Help Please)

HELLO, I HAVE BOUGHT AND INSTALLED THE X.B.I.T CHIP AND WHEN I GO TO USE THE X.B.I.T SOFTWARE TO FLASH IT,IT JUST ENDS UP FREEZING UP.THE HIGHEST BLOCK THAT I'VE GOTTEN IT TO ERASE WAS BLOCK 18.IS THERE SOME WAY TO GET THIS TO WORK.DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A CERTAIN CONFIGURATION THAT WILL WORK?PLEASE ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED

hi m8,had some problems myself with the flashing software-looked on the dms faq pages & it seems some pc setups have trouble flashing the chip.
My problems in the end were caused by a faulty mini-usb cable though.

I would suggest using memory bank 6,& just trying to flash bios 6 on there for now.
The software has trouble updating the screen when using xp so it may not be crashing as such,the program may still be erasing but you might not be leaving it long enough???How long before you cancel the flashing program when it flashes????
